Many of you already know Mr. Crawford from his highly acclaimed presentations at our Civil War Lecture Series which takes place each January and February. Charlie Crawford is a trustee of Georgia Battlefields Association (GBA) and editor of its monthly newsletter Georgia Battlefields. He retired from the Air Force as a colonel in 1995 and is currently director of operations for an information consulting company. He has authored and edited articles and papers on military and technical topics. In addition to being a member of GBA and the Civil War Round Table of Atlanta, Mr. Crawford is a life member of the Civil War Preservation Trust.

Porch Chats takes place Sundays through October 24th on the porch of the Williams-Payne House. Attendees enjoy visiting informally with special guests nominated by the community. Topic range from local history to current events and everything in between.
